Holiday Fees
Each petsitting visit will have a $5.00 holiday charge added on these celebrated days. Each overnight stay will have a $10.00 holiday charge added on these celebrated days.

Please note the following: *Fees may vary upon location, pets, services needed and extenuating circumstances. *All payments are due in advance of services being provided. *Distinctive Petsitting accepts Cash, Check, Travelers Checks and Money Orders. *Gratuities for petsitters are unexpected and certainly appreciated for outstanding service. Cancellation Policies Our cancellation policies are structured to be fair to all concerned within our client service agreement and our pet sitters. Extenuating circumstances are evaluated on a case by case basis. Dog Walking Cancellations: To cancel a mid-day walk, please call the office before 6 am the morning the visit is to occur. There is no penalty for cancellations made before 6 am. If you call after 6 am, or if we arrive at your home and are turned away, you will be charged in full for the visit. Excessive Weekly Cancellations: When scheduling with us weekly, we hold your time window in our weekly schedule. Should weekly cancellations start to occur, we reserve the right to modify your time window (with notice of course) to allow us to accommodate other clients in need of consistent weekly services. Fee increases may incur depending on the number of days per week needed. Pet Sitting Cancellations: If you give us more than 48 hours’ notice for a cancellation, your account will be credited the full amount for future services. If you give less than 48 hours for service cancellation, your account will incur a 25% cancellation fee. The remaining credit balance will be credited toward future services. We do not offer refunds; you will receive a credit confirmation for future service via email. On Demand Service Cancellations will incur 100% cancellation fee. Overnight Cancellations: Due to the fact that we can only accommodate ONE house sitting request per night, per sitter, cancellations will incur a 50% overnight cancellation fee. If the overnights are cancelled within 72 hours, 100% cancellation fee will apply. Please understand, if a client schedules overnights, then cancels, we have most likely turned another client away. We can’t be in two places at once! The remaining balance will be credited toward future services. Holiday Payments and Cancellations: All reservations for Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's must be paid in full at booking. From November 1st until New Year’s Day, if less than a 10-days’ notice is given in cancelling pet sitting and overnight house sitting services, a fee of 50% of scheduled services will be charged. The remaining balance will be credited toward future services. If less than 72 hours’ notice is given during the holiday fourth quarter period, 100% of scheduled services will be charged.
