Professional pet sitting is a serious business that requires plenty of common sense, compassion focused energy and service minded flexibility. If you have excellent references demonstrating your ability to follow through with your commitments, please impress us with your superior written communication skills by carefully completing our preliminary web application below. All potential pet sitter candidates should be prepared to meet these preliminary requirements: > You are a mature adult over 21 years old > Life experience as a pet parent > Own a mobile phone and use it for primary communications > Have basic computer skills and consistently check email twice daily > Responsible – you have the ability to respond appropriately > Live within nine miles of our mailing address in Atlanta, GA 30339 > Have a minimum of 6 personal references and 3 career references > Own an insured and reliable automobile > Absolutely LOVE animals (both dogs and cats) > Can commit to working with DPI for a minimum of nine months consistently > Neat, tidy and respectful in the client's home > Can pass a comprehensive criminal / background check at your own expense > Possess and use excellent written and verbal communication skills
All petsitter applicants will be required to submit a recent copy of their criminal history report, at their own expense, at the time of theirinterview.
MID-DAY DOG WALKERS Part-time, supplemental job to start 2 - 8 walks per week with more walks assured as your ability and business increases Mid-day assignments are in Smyrna / Mableton / Vinings / NW Atlanta areas
AM / PM VACATION PET SITTERS FOR CATS AND DOGS Vacation visits are located primarily in Smyrna / Mableton / Vinings / NW Atlanta Visits are 20-45 minutes in length between 7am and 8pm (in most cases) Assignments typically occur 1-2 times a day for cats and 2-4 times a day for dogs
OVERNIGHT PET SITTERS Overnight house sitting assignments begin at 9pm and end at 7:30am Additional pet visits typically occur 1-2 times during the day for 25-30 minutes. Overnight stays are in Smyrna/Mableton/Vinings /NW Atlanta areas.
Petsitter candidates located more than TEN miles from our office will find the commute too extensive for a minimum nine month commitment.
